Job Title: Calibration Technician
Pay Rate: $21.25 to $25/HR

We are looking for Calibration Technician

Role

• Maintenance, repair and calibration of Electrical and Hydraulic equipment, performing electrical safety tests, all according to specifications and requirements. All equipment must be inspected upon arrival in the Equipment Centre. Needed repair and/or maintenance/calibration must be registered in internal software and carried out according to internal, and manufacturer specifications.
• The role is to ensure calibration of the tools that are going to be used for the installation and the service of wind turbines.
• The role is also to test, calibrate, operate and repair hydraulic, mechanical and electronic measuring equipment.
• Fault finding, strip down and diagnostics of defective hydraulic equipment.
• It involves working in a laboratory setting where procedures are carefully followed from start to finish of the calibration procedure.
• Testing, calibrating and maintenance/repair of hire stock of instruments, client’s equipment, laboratory equipment and any other equipment.

• Ensure that all customers receive the documentation required.
• Support on Quality and EHS issues in cases where tools and/or equipment have been reported
• Contribute to a good and safe work environment.
• Creating Non-conformance and fault reports.

Education

• Electrical and Hydraulic maintenance of tools/equipment and calibration.
• Basic Electrical and Hydraulic knowledge.
• Engineering background

What do I need to qualify for this job?
The ideal candidate for this role will have an understanding of Electrical and Hydraulic Tooling. You will have previous experience in service/repair/maintenance. You will have experience of working in an ISO environment. You will also be a good team player and be able to work to deadlines.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
