Shift 1: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM

We are looking for a Production Scheduler.

Summary
This position is a production scheduler position located in the Combustion Components manufacturing department located in Charlotte, NC.
Specifically, this position will involve the scheduling of the coatings area of the shop.

Specific Areas of Responsibility

• Schedule workflow to ensure alignment with upstream and downstream value chains
• Forecast and facilitate completion dates for parts leaving the coating area
• Provide detailed work centre scheduling
• Manage coating powder inventories and availability at point of use
• Facilitate non-conformance rework planning and scheduling

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (BS/BA) or Associate's Degree with equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 1 - 5 years of manufacturing experience in scheduling, line supervision, industrial engineering, or production control.
• Must be willing to work 5 days/week in an office/shop floor environment
• Knowledge of MRP and scheduling systems/tools is preferred.
• Proven experience with SAP and Microsoft Office software, a plus.
• Knowledge of general APS or HVOF coating manufacturing is an asset.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
