Infosoft Teksolutions is Hiring an EHS Specialist Near Issaquah, WA

Here are the job position details for your review:

Job Title: EHS Specialist
Pay Rate: $40 to 42/Hr
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Issaquah, WA

Shift Timings: 1st Shift - (8 AM to 5 PM Pacific time)

This position is for the Healthcare Diagnostics division.

Description:

  • This position will be focused on key projects that are essential to the organization.
  • The specific tasks include:
  • Maintain site-level EHS management system programs and associated documentation by governmental and company requirements
  • Evaluate proposed Federal, State, and local EHS compliance laws and regulations to determine the impact on compliance programs and business operations
  • Revise/develop programs as needed
  • Apply continuous improvement philosophy to EHS programs while ensuring compliance, injury prevention, and risk mitigation
  • Partner with site leaders to improve the safety culture, awareness, and accountability in support of EHS programs
  • Develop rapport and collaborative relationships with employees
  • Ensure timely follow-through on customer inquiries or business needs
  • Manage EHS projects
  • Engage and actively participate in site workplace consultation committees, including the Safety Committee, First Aid Team, and Green Team
  • Support environmental compliance programs
  • Promote the use of electronic good observation/near miss tool
  • Revise and establish site EHS training as needed
  • Travel up to 10% (EHS meetings and professional development)

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of progressive EHS experience
  • BS Degree in Industrial Hygiene, Safety, Environmental Engineering, or equivalent scientific discipline.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 1 years of experience implementing ISO certifications and standards
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proficient in Excel and data analysis, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint programs
  • Support audits and ergonomic assessments

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to Commute:

  • Issaquah, WA 98029 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Issaquah, WA 98029: Relocate before starting work (Required)
