Job Description:

• Prototype Build Project Manager, supports the organization on planning, coordination and follow-up of build and test activities on projects at Volvo Trucks, securing a good status between systems and physical test objects according to project frame.
• Lead, plan, organize and control the Physical Build activities in close cooperation with the project team and PME within Product Development projects.
• Meet the project prototype need of Physical Builds and parts according to specified requirements.
• Manage projects or subprojects with limited complexity within a program or portfolio, from initiation to completion.
• Have full responsibility for defining and managing scope, cost, schedule, quality and risks - and to deliver on agreed project objectives.
• May be assigned to more complex project support from lead project manager.
• Working independently with limited supervision.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Position requires 5 years of relevant experience.
• May have a certification in project management.
• Background from Automotive, Heavy Commercial Vehicle industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of MS Office Tools, Basic CAD tools exposure (viewer)
• Good understanding of Bill of material, assembly drawings
• Prototype ordering and coordination with shops and suppliers.
