We are seeking a dedicated Progressive Care Nurse to join our team at a Level I Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will have experience in outpatient care and possess a strong skill set in areas such as Mammography, Gastric Lavage, and ventilator management. Knowledge of Cerner software and Workers Compensation Law is advantageous.
* *Position - RN PCU Heart Failure*
* *Location - Nashville, TN*
* *Week - 13*
* *Hours - 48*
* *Shift - Nights (4x12hr )*
* *Gross Weekly - $2,786/wks for 48hr*
* *Stipend - $1,850/wks (included in gross)*
* *W2 Pay - $18/hr*
* *OT Pay - $27/hr*

Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care for patients in the progressive care unit
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, communicate with healthcare team members
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist with procedures as needed
- Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement patient care plans
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and standards of care
Requirements:
- Valid RN license with a background in hospital medicine
- Proficiency in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Infectious Disease Care
- Experience in ventilator management and gastric lavage procedures
- Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records system
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
