Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Your primary responsibility will be to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients with medical and surgical conditions.

Location: Sitka, AK
Duration: 13 week (Possible extension for another 13 week)

Hours Per Week: 36

Duties:

- Perform physical examinations and health assessments on patients

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians

- Monitor and document patient progress, symptoms, and vital signs

- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans

- Provide patient education on disease prevention, treatment options, and self-care techniques

- Assist with diagnostic evaluations and procedures

- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of medical records using Epic or similar electronic health record system

- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment

- Provide ostomy care and assist with wound management as needed

- Safely lift and transfer patients using proper body mechanics

Job Types: Full-time, Travel nursing, Contract

Pay: $2,500.00 - $3,000.00 per week
