Job Summary -

• Conducts non-invasive examinations using various equipment.
• Positions patients for optimal data collection.
• Explains procedures clearly to patients.
• Performs real-time analysis and interpretation.
• Conducts stress echo and dobutamine echo examinations.
• Executes vascular studies and Holter Monitor analysis.
• Prepares patients for cardiac stress tests.
• Provides guidance to technicians, fellows, and students.
• Maintains accurate records and performs charge entry.
• Upholds hospital standards, including safety and infection control measures.

Requirements:

• Work requires knowledge of Cardiology, Medical Terminology, basic Physics, Biology and Anatomy in order to perform tests and interpret raw data.
• Certification or eligibility for registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in echocardiography is strongly preferred.
• Work requires knowledge of general cardiograph and hospital procedures, sonography equipment as well as proficiency in performing technical work.

Salary: $80,000.00 - $112,000.00 per year
