Psych RN opening in Belmont, MA.

Duration: 13 weeks contract with possibility of extension

Specialty: Nursing Geriatrics

Schedule: 40 hours a week, Mon-Fri, 5*8, day/evening rotation OR nights, 7am-3.30pm/3pm-11.30pm OR 11pm-7.30am

Responsibilities:

• Gauging patients' psychiatric states.
• Collaborating on psychiatric intervention plans.
• Administering psychotropic and similar medications.
• Monitoring adherence to non-medicinal treatment regimens.
• Removing potentially harmful and triggering environmental features.
• Restraining, consoling, and sometimes medicating highly unsettled patients.
• Recording patients' health journeys and reporting on notable alterations.
• Conducting targeted psychoeducation, particularly within families.

Requirements:

• A current Massachusetts Nursing license
• BLS (from AHA or ARS)
• Relevant experience
• Covid vaccination (two doses and first booster)
