Job Summary:

• Seeking a Medical Assistant to support a dedicated team of health care providers in their Bay Area practice. This large corporate healthcare organization is growing at a rapid pace and are looking for qualified Medical Assistant. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with patients and wants an opportunity for growth in their career
• The Medical Assistant performs a variety of functions such as answering telephone calls, relaying messages, verifying patients’ demographics and insurance information, and scheduling appointments. Additionally, the MA will perform back-office duties such as rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and review patients’ medical records to assist with patient inquiries.
• Must know EPIC-very busy clinic
• These individuals must be very comfortable seeing genitalia, urine, specimens, etc.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Current CPR Certification
• Completed an accredited Medical Assistant program
• Requires at minimum 1 year of experience in an ambulatory care environment as a Medical Assistant
• Proficiency with an electronic medical records (EMR) system (preferably Epic)
• Demonstrated ability to room patients, take and accurately document vital signs, administer injections, and maintain medical records
• Optimum team player must be able to multi-task and consistently practice positive patient relations and customer service

Pay: $21.34 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
