Job Overview:

The Community Based Contract Compliance Auditor, Southern Region, will conduct reviews and audits across DCS regions 8, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, and 18, encompassing the bottom half of the state. The focus is on evaluating DCS services and billing to ensure accuracy and proper billing procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct community-based reviews and audits of DCS services and billing practices to identify errors and areas for improvement.

Create corrective plans and recommend process improvements when issues are identified.

Work in a team to review DCS contracted provider locations, assessing compliance from service provision to billing.

Participate in weekly team meetings and monthly division meetings via Teams, as well as quarterly face-to-face meetings in Marion County.

Suggest improvements within the team and division while following all state laws, policies, and service standards.

Engage in training sessions to maintain a comprehensive understanding of the role and responsibilities.

Travel Requirements:

Frequent travel to DCS provider locations within assigned regions, up to twice per week.

Quarterly travel to Marion County for in-person meetings.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
