Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Coordinator to join our team. As a Construction Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various construction projects. This is a key role that requires strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively communicate with team members, contractors, and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee construction projects from start to finish
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project success
- Develop and maintain project schedules using software such as Prolog, Primavera, or other project scheduling tools
- Assist in construction estimating and budgeting processes
- Review and analyze construction plans, specifications, and contracts
- Coordinate project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, and submittals
- Facilitate communication between all stakeholders involved in the construction process
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budget
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality control and compliance with safety regulations
- Assist in resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process
Requirements:
- Proven experience in construction coordination or related field
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices
- Proficiency in software such as Prolog, HeavyBid, ProCore, Bluebeam, or similar tools
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
