The Role:
 
The Account Specialist would be calling on the behalf of our Client, headquartered in Mesa, Arizona, specializes in fundraising for schools across the Greater Phoenix area. Since 2004, they have
been actively engaged in outbound acquisition, specifically selling banner advertising for local businesses to be displayed on football, soccer, and baseball fields within the region.
 
Responsibilities: 

• The Account Specialist will be responsible for driving completed selling of banner advertising.
• Outbound calling, identifying, and assessing prospect needs, and determining key decision makers
• Ideal candidates will thrive on the challenge of creative telephone negotiation
• Working in tandem with client to ensure that schools in the Greater Phoenix area have their fundraising potential maximized
• Learning accurate product knowledge in a classroom training setting.
• Develop new business via telephone and email by educating potential clients on our offering. 
• Follow up on leads and conduct research to identify potential prospects. 

 
Ideal Qualifications: 

• A competitive drive to be THE BEST 
• Previous experience in either level B2B or telecom sales or related field (6mo - 3yrs is typical) 
• Excellent communication skills—both speaking and listening 
• Ability to build rapport on the phone 
• Willingness to accept feedback and be coached 
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills 
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills 
• Experience working under sales quota (preferred)
