Infinity Healthcare Management is Hiring a Clinical Director Near Desert Hot Springs, CA

Bella Monte Recovery Center™ offers sub-acute Detox & Residential treatment programs for adults who are diagnosed with Substance Use Disorder (SUD), as well as Co-Occurring mental health disorders. We specialize in addressing the underlying trauma that serves as a barrier to achieving long-term recovery.

We are Licensed by the State of California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) for Detoxification, Residential, & Incidental Medical Services (IMS). We are an approved provider through the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). We are also an active member of the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers (NAATP).

Our Medical Director has over 20 years of experience with treating Opioid Use Disorder (F11.20). He has specialized in Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), which we now offer multiple options to patients that are appropriate candidates.

The Clinical team at Bella Monte is made up of Master’s level therapists who are proficient in a number of evidence-based practices such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), & more. Our focus is on healing trauma with our primary modality Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR). We also facilitate weekly Psychodrama Group Therapy sessions. We pride ourselves in truly embodying the practice of Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) as it provides the necessary environment supportive to the healing process.

We are well accustomed to serving working professionals who may require individualized treatment plans & specific attention to their coordination of care. Our treatment team has significant experience in assisting patients make proper arrangements with their respected Employee Assistance Program (EAP) & Human Resource (HR) departments. Each person will receive assistance in filing for Family Medical Leave of Absence (FMLA), disability, or unemployment when necessary. Coordination with Attorneys, as well as Parole or Probation Departments is also something that we can assist with as our clinical programming schedule can often suffice for Drug & Alcohol, or other, class requirements.

Our dedicated Case Management approach facilitates required communication with external parties, as well as aftercare planning. Patients will develop a Continuing Care Plan to best support a seamless transition after discharge. This may include referrals for Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), Outpatient Programs (OP), Sober Living Environments (SLE), individual therapists, psychiatrists, medical providers, and recovery meetings in the area that the client will be discharging to.

Originally built as a Resort & Spa, our beautiful property is located in the foothills overlooking the Coachella Valley. We have retained the amenities that create a tranquil experience for our clients including a swimming pool, two spas, a dry sauna, and jacuzzi tubs in each room. We sit on an aquifer that provides us with natural mineral water throughout the entire facility.

With an understanding that trauma is stored in the Central Nervous System (CNS) we maintain an emphasis on connecting to the physical body. We have Trauma-Informed yoga classes facilitated 2 times per week. Our Licensed Massage Therapists are on-site every Sunday to provide our clients with individualized body work.

We accept most major commercial insurance and are currently in-network with the following providers: 4 Your Choice, Anthem Blue Cross, Beacon Health Options, Boon Group, First Health, Health Net, MHN, MultiPlan, The Holman Group, & Zelis. We are an approved provider for TRICARE and also hold a contract with Riverside-San Bernardino County Indian Health, Inc. (RSBCIHI), who provide resources for 10 Native American tribes in our immediate area. Private pay arrangements are available at competitive rates.

JOB TITLE: Clinical Director

SUPERVISOR: Executive Director

POSITION SUMMARY: Oversees, assigns, coordinates, and assists staff in providing counseling services to clients;

1. Responsible for interviewing, selecting, and training employees
2. Planning, assigning, and directing work
3. Guide the clinical modalities of the facility
4. Addressing complaints and resolving problems
5. Perform staff evaluations

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assigns caseloads and related duties, and coordinates activities of staff in providing counseling services to assist clients.

2. Assists staff through individual and group meetings in analyzing case problems and in improving their diagnostic and helping skills.

3. Reviews clinical documentation, evaluates performance of staff and recommends indicated action.

4. Assists in the development of staff competencies.

5. Carries a caseload load of clients individually or in groups on planned or experimental basis and in emergencies. May see high-acuity clients in order to help counselors with additional support.

6. Work with the Program Director and staff to develop, coordinate, implement, and evaluate prevention and educational activities.

7. Trains new employees in areas such as BMRC policy, section procedures, and EMR record/group note system.

8. Provides direction to staff in areas such as new policies, procedures, regulations, and new therapeutic modalities, including trauma healing activities.

9. Represents BMRC in community or interagency activities.

10. Conducts or directs staff development programs.

11. Attends department meetings, treatment meetings, and other meetings as assigned.

12. Maintain 24-hour on-call availability during scheduled rotations between leadership team members.

13. Adhere to accreditation and compliance standards/guidelines while assisting the team to walk through certifications and evaluations with CARF and DHCS.

14. Agrees to be trained in EMDR to assist counselors with trauma treatment and supervision.

15. Is willing to supervise MFT/MSW Trainees and Associates.

16. Maintains a professional, organized working environment by following organizational policies, guidelines and safety standards.

17. Assists in development of department policy, procedures, and quality improvement activities within the clinic as directed.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Directly supervised clinical employees.

2. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with BMRC policies, procedures, and applicable laws.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

1. Licensed LCSW, LMFT, PhD preferred; or 4 years or more of clinical experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

1. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business plans, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

2. Ability to write reports, clinical correspondence, and procedure manuals.

3. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, family members, customers, and the general public.

REASONING ABILITY:

1. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

1. Must have current licensure with the BBS.

2. Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for BMRC vehicle insurance.

3. Must provide proof of private vehicle insurance.

4. Must have or obtain within six months of hiring CPR certification and maintain such.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

1. Proficiency in basic computer skills, operation and experience with keyboarding.

2. Have the ability to work with EMR and charting.

3. Ability to work with minimal supervision.

4. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

5. Must be able to present a positive working environment.

6. Must be able to work with a wide variety of people in a positive manner.
