INFINITT North America 

Job Description: Interface Specialist

The INFINITT Interface Specialist will be responsible for all Professional Service related functions, including but not limited to participating in projects, support, working with 3rd party vendors and reporting. This role is part of the first responders for questions or requests related to professional services functions. They will ensure compliance, security and advising the CIO of security risks and concerns.

Principle Functions:

  1. Professional Services Analysts
    1. Building and Implementing Interfacing solutions as well as maintaining integration solutions.
    2. Provide varying degree of support (phone, in person, on-site, or as required) related to interface. Provide technical service and troubleshoot thoroughly. Report and/or document escalations as needed. Identify technical issues and provide resolution to customer.
    3. Documentation – System Design, Software and Implementation documentation – Technical and non-Technical. Test Processes and Information Gathering with the goal of improving test processes and quality and efficient of product.
    4. Projects and Professional Services including and not limited to Interface Migrations, Upgrades, Go-Live Support, IPC, Database Exports, HL7 Interfaces and Customizations. 
    5. Any duties that may be relevant and industry acceptable and Professional Service Analyst such as After-hours Support and Off Hour projects may be asked and/or required to meet deadlines.
    6. Develop training materials and procedures, and/or train users in the proper use of hardware and software.
    7. Traveling onsite to diagnose or build Interface or Professional Service-related solutions as needed 
    8. Shared responsibility for handling internal Interface or PSR Administrative functions
    9. Manage and complete goals for mid-year and end-of-year to meet company and/or personal goals on time.
    10. Act as a Subject matter expert (SME) for professional services activities and provide sound advice or support to other team members.
  1. Incident and project reporting
    1. Responsible for creating incident reports related to potential delays due to technical resources on project deliverables to the CIO 
    2. Define what the customer requires from the interface and how INFINITT can deliver this within the project.
  1. Management and Leadership
  1. Responsible for ensuring compliance, security and advising the CIO of security risks and concern 
  2. Providing technical sales and information to assist Sales in proposals.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Information technology, Healthcare Life Science, or equivalent
  2. 4-6 years’ experience working in a medical, pharmaceutical, or imaging environment including quality and/or auditing duties 
  3. Required, ability to prioritize multiple tasks and conflicting priorities.
  4. Required, solid problem solving and analytical skills; ability to quickly understand any issue/problem encountered and recommend an appropriate solution.

Essential Experience 

  1. Excellent coding / programming knowledge
  2. Proficient in SQL querying and updates
  3. Working knowledge of HL7 and DICOM standards
  4. Enterprise IT background
  5. Understanding of PAC/RIS workflow
  6. Excellent written communication skills
  7. Excellent organization skills and ability to perform under pressure
