Infinite Solutions Behavioral Services, LLC is Hiring a Qualified Mental Health Professional - QMHP (Crisis Services in Colonial Heights) Near Colonial Heights, VA

**Mobile Crisis Response/ 23 Hour/ Community Stabilization**

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one behavioral support services to clients experiencing a crisis jeopardizing their current placement.
  • Initiate and facilitate de-escalation techniques and strategies to assist the client in maintaining self-control.
  • Use good interpersonal communication skills to gain client cooperation and resolve conflict.
  • Assess, evaluate and monitor the safety of the client and others at all times.
  • Exercise appropriate intervention in accordance with the least restrictive alternative to hospitalization.
  • Coordinate closely with other staff and community partners to ensure the appropriateness of treatment modalities and services being provided.
  • Be available to provide services during the day, evening, weekends and holidays.
  • Provide direct services to clients, including linkage, advocating, supporting, and providing education as needed.
  • Respond to crisis situations immediately.
  • Link clients with external programs or services, such as health services, recreational activities, childcare services, financial resources, employment resources, childcare, AA/NA groups, transportation resources, and others
  • Must work in teams
  • Collaborate and coordinate with other service providers and professionals, such as attorneys, social workers, and probation/parole officers.
  • Complete all progress notes in a timely fashion.
  • Recommend appropriate services for client.
  • Assure client is informed of his/her human rights.
  • Maintain daily contact with referring agency.
  • Conduct discharge planning in accordance with program description.
  • Advise Clinical Director/ direct supervisor of the state of clinical services, its staff, and its needs and solicits assistance in implementing solutions to problems.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must hold at minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Services to include social work, gerontology, psychology, psychiatric rehabilitation, special education, sociology, counseling, vocational rehabilitation, criminal justice and human services counseling, or a related field from an accredited college or university and experience providing mental health services and case management to individuals suffering from a mental illness is preferred. This position also requires a valid driver’s license, automobile and telecommunications availability, excellent verbal and written skills; counseling and social work theories and techniques; and community resources. Strong writing and case conceptualization skills and reference to a methodological. The successful completion of a criminal history or background investigation is required.

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
