Infinite Possibilities Counseling Service, LLC is Hiring a Family Support Worker Near Canton, GA

Infinite Possibilities is dedicated to empowering individuals and families to make long-term, life-changing decisions that will help to bring about a renewed sense of purpose and vision. At Infinite Possibilities we seek to provide behavioral healthcare services and family support services capable of upholding, supporting, and maintaining the well-being of the children and families we serve.

Infinite Possibilities Counseling Service is a well-established contracted provider with the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services. We have been contracted with GA DFCS since 2002. We are currently seeking Family Support Workers and Behavior Aids to provide services for children and families involved with GA DFCS . Duties include but are not limited to: monitoring/observing family visits between foster children and their parents, monitoring children/teens, basic parent education and guidance, engaging with families, and GA DFCS personnel regarding appropriate behavioral interventions designed to improve child behavior and basic parenting skills. This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in a human services field or a HS diploma with 5-10 years of experience in a human services field. Individuals with degrees in Early Childhood Education or other Education degree may also be considered. Those with certified daycare experience may be considered as well. Some travel may be required.

- Provide intervention services to individuals and families in need
- Educating parents on childcare responsibilities, ensuring the safety and well-being of children
- Collaborate with social workers, child protective services, and other professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Support individuals in developing coping strategies and accessing necessary resources
- Facilitate conflict management and resolution among individuals or within families
- Monitor and assess the behavioral health of clients, reporting any concerns or changes to appropriate personnel
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, progress, and outcomes

```Experience```
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare or similar setting
- Knowledge of child welfare policies and procedures
- Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and behavioral health support
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly on your feet
