Job description:
In your new role you will:
  • Be in charge of the preparation and review of components of the annual and quarterly federal and state income tax provisions, including coordinating and communications regarding Tax Reporting Package with Munich Tax on order to provide supporting documentation to the global tax reporting functions.
  • Identify and streamline procedures and worksheets for preparation of the US Regions tax accounting and planning.
  • Align documentation with US tax laws & records to reduce risk and and liabilies penalties.
  • Stay abreast of federal & state legislative changes that impact tax filings & provision computation by attending tax industry seminars & liaising with other tax professionals and providing analysis to Munich Tax to support the global tax reporting of these new law changes.
  • Assist in planning & managing regional effective tax rate that is a part of the global effective tax rate. Identify, analyze, & create models to discuss tax planning strategies for the Company & its related entities that will support and benefit the global tax effective tax rate.
  • Ensuring corporate compliance with all applicable local, state, andfederal tax obligations (i.e. US tax reform) by developing internal policies relating to taxation and implementation of these policies into existing accounting practices.
  • Assist in analyzing Federal and state uncertain tax positions and communications with Munich Tax in order to provide US tax supporting analysis for global uncertain tax position reporting.
  • Manage and oversee third party service providers, who assist in the tax preparation process, with periodic discussions regarding new law changes and written documentation that become a part of the tax files.
  • Mentor and develop tax staff by discussing project tasks periodically, providing direction for research and understanding of tax technical concepts, and training of Infineon tools and processes; as well as third party tax preparation software.
  • Oversee/implement AI and other digital tools for internal and external reporting on direct tax matters.
  • Focus on overall cost reduction, accurate/consistent reporting and reduction of risk.
Your Profile:
You are best equipped for this task if you have :
  • CPA and/or MST strongly preferred.
  • BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Tax and/or Finance.
  • 10 years of tax experience with Big 4 firm and/or Fortune 500 company.
  • Experience with US corporate taxation preferred.
  • Experience with ASC 740 accounting for income tax preferred.
  • Strong experience in Indirect Taxation
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with teams across the globe.
  • Strong analytic and problem solving abilities, able to research complex tax matters in different jurisdictions.
  • Deep experience in tax controversy area and knowledge of government audit process.
  • Knowledge in the area of tax credits and incentives.
  • Ability to multitask and manage tax professionals.

Wage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate:
Minimum of $165,000.00 salary per year
Maximum of $226,900.00 salary per year

In addition, all employees will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan.
