Job Title: RN PCU -- Days
Location: Carbondale, IL 62901
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 7AM-7:30PM, Weekend Requirement Every other weekend
Guaranteed total hours a week: 40

Nurses need to competent for progressive level of care. The group of patients we typically see have diagnoses involving: CHF, COPD, DM, Sepsis, ACS. Nurses are expected to be comfortable with the following titratable medications: Cardizen, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Precedex, Insulin, heparin.
- They should be capable of caring for stroke patients and be able to competently interpret cardiac telemetry.
- Our typical patient ratio is 4:1 with the assistance of a patient care technician.
Qualifications:
- Nurses are expected to be comfortable with the following titratable medications: Cardizen, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Precedex, Insulin, heparin.
- They should be capable of caring for stroke patients and be able to competently interpret cardiac telemetry.
- 2 years of PCU experience as a RN.
- RN license in IL
- Covid card
- BLS and PALS certifications
