Infectious Disease Consultants is Hiring a Medical Front Office Receptionist Near Tucson, AZ

### Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our office, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in an administrative role, possess strong communication skills, and be able to multitask effectively.

### Duties:

- Greet and welcome patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the office calendar
- Check-in patients, verify insurance information, and collect necessary paperwork
- Assist with medical records management, including filing, scanning, and organizing documents
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Handle patient inquiries and provide accurate information or direct them to the appropriate department
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and timely service
- Process payments and handle
- Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, faxing, and emailing

### Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in medical administrative support is a plus
- Proven experience in an administrative or customer service role
- Familiarity with Medical office procedures and terminology is preferred
- Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with electronic medical records systems is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
