The Main Purpose of the Role: The role includes the support of the department product lines through small projects and a day-to-day technical service emphasis. Responsibilities AND Accountabilities Day-to-day interface with operations and maintenance to help maintain, support, troubleshoot, and maximize the unit performance. This also includes preparation and support for unit shutdowns, turnarounds, and start-ups. Assist in the monitoring of unit performance variables and support the product line benchmarking effort. Application of technical skills to improve the health, safety, and environmental performance of the manufacturing units. Seek opportunities to implement process changes that improve quality, reduce operating costs, and increase production. Support project activities that include scoping and prioritization, preliminary and detailed process designs, economic evaluation, start-up support, post audit evaluations and completion of proper documentation. Demonstrate an ability to work with technology, operations, shared services, marketing, customers, and outside vendors to successfully develop and implement new technology and/or products into the product line process. This effort will require evaluation of the technology and development of testing protocol that will be used in the plant. Also, will be required to become the champion of the new technology to sell to the internal customers and management. The position is accountable for understanding and putting into practice the INEOS 20 Principles. Perform other related duties as required and assigned. Skills & Knowledge Required Education/Experience Level of Education & Experience in general Will have Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university by December 2023 or May 2024 3.0 or greater G.P.A. out of 4.0 is required Skills and Competencies Strong engineering skills with basic knowledge of process engineering.
