Position Title: Indy Parks - Greenspace Crew Lead

Reports to: Indy Parks Improvement and Beautifications Projects Manager

Maximum Living Allowance: $28,000.00. Participants of AmeriCorps program will earn a living allowance in lieu of a salary.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, some weekends required.

Service Term: September 9, 2024 through August 8, 2025

Position Overview:

Indy Parks is seeking four (4) AmeriCorps members who can lead AmeriCorps crews in park restoration efforts in Marion County. The Greenspace Crew Lead will focus on park restoration activities, making it an excellent opportunity for those interested in honing their leadership skills, conservation, community engagement, and outdoor work. Greenspace Crew Leads will also support the Community Engagement Lead in implementing community programming, and project support. Members will have access to hands-on skill development, free training, and experience working in a municipality.

Applicant Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age
