Job Summary:

Join the team at Old Town Bar as we seek a dependable and experienced Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our patrons and staff. As a Security Guard, you'll play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment by monitoring the premises, preventing theft, enforcing rules, and responding to emergencies with professionalism and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

- Regularly patrol the premises on foot to maintain security and deter potential threats

- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms to promptly identify and address security issues

- Investigate and report any suspicious activities or incidents in a timely manner

- Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering the bar

- Respond promptly to emergencies such as medical incidents, fires, or alarms

- Maintain detailed incident reports and accurate records of daily activities

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries or concerns from customers and staff members

- Ensure a level of customer service and safety of staff members and customers at the property.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required

- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.

- Strong observation and surveillance skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to handle conflicts and difficult situations professionally

- Abilty to make quick and sound decisions without further escalation.

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
