Duties and Responsibilities:

• Works on many phases of project lifecycle, from design through project closure, onsite.
• Lead project of moderate size and complexity, final project reviewed by direct supervision.
• Contribute to driving projects to completion through hands-on approach.
• Participate in R&D tasks, with supervision.
• Train new hires, Field Technicians and L1 Engineers.
• Subject matter expert on at least one job related technology and strong working knowledge of many other technical aspects of the job.
• Uses professional expertise to perform all aspects of the role, routine and non-standard, efficiently and effectively with limited guidance.
• Applies judgement and discretion to unique problems.
• Cultivation of strong working relationships, both internal and external.
• On-site contractor and customer training, as needed.
• Quickly troubleshoot to resolve issues.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• BSEE/CSE or equivalent.
• 5 years' experience in a related position or industry.
• Experience with large project-based field engineering work.
• Ability to travel 30-50% of the time, depending on project load.
• Technical proficiency in design, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Project Management skills, a plus.
• Working knowledge of networking, Cisco CCNA, a plus.
• 2D CAD/AutoCAD/Autodesk experience, a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation requirements.
• Experiencing working with contractors, integrators and/or end users.
• Self-motivated with the discipline to meet necessary deadlines.
• Preferred certifications include RCDD, CCNA, CCDA, NT , SEC , etc.
• Possess knowledge of basic network/electrical troubleshooting and product specific requirements for installation.
• Fluency with networking, camera, and radar configuration.
• Experience and certification with key vendors.
• Ability to act as a field leader, directing the work of Technicians, contractors and customers.
• Ability to lead a comprehensive system deployment.
• Ability to manage project scopes and controls.
• Ability to take full responsibility for project-customer interface preferred.
