Job Description: As a Mechanical Project Engineer supporting our soda ash mining client, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of mechanical engineering projects and providing expert guidance to meet our client's unique needs. You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various mechanical aspects, from project planning and design to installation, commissioning, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with our soda ash mining client.

• Act as a primary point of contact for the client, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction with our services.

2. Project Planning and Design:

• Collaborate with the client to define project objectives and scope.

• Develop and review mechanical engineering designs, specifications, and standards to align with the client's requirements.

3. Project Execution:

• Oversee the mechanical engineering aspects of mining projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.

• Coordinate with project teams and contractors to ensure project milestones are met.

4. Quality Control and Testing:

• Implement quality control procedures and testing protocols to ensure the reliability and performance of mechanical systems and equipment.

• Address any issues or challenges that may arise during the project.

5. Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure that all mechanical engineering work adheres to industry standards, safety regulations, and the client's specific safety requirements.

6. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate project records, including design documents, change orders, and progress reports.

• Provide regular project updates and reports to the client and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Professional engineering license preferred.

• Proven experience in mechanical engineering, especially in the mining industry.
