ISE is seeking a highly motivated entry level candidate to join our team. The ideal candidate is already proficient in using AutoCAD to create 2D blue-print drawings.

Core Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D drawings on AutoCAD, producing structural steel erection drawings.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to ensure understanding of the design intent and assist in the development of the design.
• Review and modify existing drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements, including revisions based on professional submittal feedback.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely completion of drafting deliverables.
• Maintain organized files and documentation of all detailing work.
• Absorb and learn industry standards while increasing related skills, complete required training courses.

Position Skills & Requirements

• Excellent attention to detail in producing accurate deliverables.
• Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to effectively communicate ideas and concepts to project teams.
• Willingness to work as a team with other detailers, project managers, and clients.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Certification a plus).
• In-depth knowledge of drafting principles and techniques.
• Familiarity with architectural design processes and related construction terminology.
• Ability to effectively work on multiple projects simultaneously, using time management skills in order meet multiple project deadlines.
• Understanding of MS office suite essentials

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
