This job has a great pay plan that is comprised of two components. You will receive hourly pay and time and a half for overtime. On top of that, you will receive an monthly incentive based on departmental gross profit.
Job Description - Parts Salesperson
Industrial Power Truck & Equipment is a premier commercial truck dealership with locations in Fort Worth, McKinney and Lewisville Texas. We service and stock parts for the following products: Autocar Trucks, Hino (Toyota) Trucks, Isuzu Trucks, Cummins Engines, Detroit Diesel Engines and Allison Transmissions. Our people are our most valuable resource, and we have an outstanding parts department team that consist of management, parts specialist, internal logistics and outside parts delivery personnel.
We are currently taking applicants for a Parts Specialist to handle front and back counter parts sales. This is a sales position! We are looking for a proactive and highly organized Parts Specialist to grow and develop our over-the-counter parts business. In addition to front counter sales, this job will involve providing parts estimates to service advisors and taking care of back counter parts sales.
Existing Industry knowledge is not required-we have an outstanding mentor-based onboarding process to teach you industry specifics and everything you'll need to know. So, if you have sales experience in another industry like pharmaceutical, hospitality etc. that experience should help you be successful in this role. However, we are definitely looking for someone that thrives in a commission-based sales environment. This is a unique opportunity to join an outstanding team, have great earning potential and a very stable job.
You will need to be a team player, have a very high level of attention to detail, keep a clean workspace and be highly effective at increasing our parts sales.
