Accent Controls, Inc. (ACI) is seeking a full-time, exempt Quality Control Specialist to support standard distribution functions, which include receipt, storage, stock readiness and issues at the DLA Distribution located in Jacksonville, FL.

Manages quality program planning, quality program evaluation, identifying and resolving quality issues, and technical advisory services such as evaluating systems, analyzing data, and establishing quality control procedures. Performs quality control surveillances of processes, procedures, and conformance to contract requirements. Uses DSS and other Government Data Systems, and validates processes performed IAW DLA Distribution SOPs and Audit Readiness Internal Controls.
Position Requirements
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Manages quality program planning, quality program evaluation, identifying and resolving quality issues, and technical advisory services such as evaluating systems, analyzing data, and establishing quality control procedures.
•Performs quality control surveillances of processes, procedures, and conformance to contract requirements.
•Uses DSS and other Government Data Systems, and validates processes performed IAW DLA Distribution SOPs and Audit Readiness Internal Controls.
SUMMARY OF JOB REQUIREMENTS
•Possess a valid Driver's License
•Fluent in speaking, reading and writing the English language
•Skilled in planning, controlling, managing, multi-tasking and being responsible for the successful completion of work requirements
•Ensure work is scheduled properly to obtain maximum use of resources
•Computer literate with proven experience using a warehouse management system (WMS). Distribution Standard System (DSS) experience is a plus.
•Ability to provide professional, effective supervision in a challenging work environment
Marginal Functions:
•Performs other related duties as required.
•Practices physical security and is committed to safety practices.
Working Conditions:
Works on concrete floors and in drafty areas. May be exposed to fumes, fluids, dirt, battery acids, etc., resulting in bruises, cuts, burns, and skin irritation. Wearing of protective wear and other safety equipment is required during all periods of exposure to hazardous conditions. Hand trucks, dollies, and other workers are available for assistance with heavier items.
Physical and Mental Demands
•Including, but not limited to, standing, squatting, lifting (up to 50 pounds); carrying, walking; pushing and pulling
•Including, but not limited to, problem-solving, decision-making, data interpretation, organization; reading and writing
Qualifications
Experience shall include a minimum three (3) years of experience in transportation using DSS or equivalent automated WMS within the past five (5) years.
