Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Shop Assistant to join our team. As a Shop Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our warehouse and assisting with various tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical knowledge and a passion for working in a hands-on environment.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with the assembly and fabrication of products

- Operate forklift to move materials and products within the warehouse

- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete assigned tasks

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop area as housekeeping is a number one objective for us in our daily tasks

- Assist in inventory management, including receiving and stocking materials

- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and provide assistance when and where it is needed

- Follow all safety protocols and procedures

- Wearing proper PPE while in the designated areas

- Completing small tasks aroudn the shop on a daily basis. Help other employees with their projects and assist as needed with any responsibilities.

Qualifications:

- Mechanical knowledge or experience is preferred but not required

- Ability to assemble and fabricate products according to specifications

- Proficient in operating a forklift (valid certification is a plus if not we can train you)

- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

- Excellent organizational skills to maintain an orderly shop environment

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

- Prior experience working in a warehouse or similar environment is beneficial

We are lookign for someone to asisst with various small tasks around the shop of a growing company.

Schedule is Monday through Friday at 8 hours a day

We are flexible with our shifts as well.

We are looking to start out at 8:00 AM and work till 4:30 PM each day as lunch is not paid for when starting out.
