LS Automation is currently seeking a motivated individual with AutoCad drafting experience. The ideal candidate will have some electrical engineering or similar experience, however, other experience will be considered. A background in graphic design and/or experience with Adobe Illustrator is also a preferred plus.

Auto Cad Drafter Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Produce drawings or modify existing drawings
• Draw and design customer drawings and wiring diagrams
• Revise production drawings
• Translate information from vendor drawings to detailed engineering drawings or schematics
• Prepare drawings and assists in design drafting
• Check engineering drawings for quality
• Create and revise production drawings (make necessary changes to existing drawings)
• Designing panel layouts, preparing panel layout drawings
• Maintain design files for design projects
• Finding existing drawings within system
• Provide documentation for custom modifications of current products to meet weekly production schedules
• Transfer data into working drawings
• Prepare simple design documentation and complete detail and layout drawings

Auto Cad Drafter Job Requirements:

• Prior experience with AutoCad
• Basic understanding of electrical systems
• Must be knowledgeable and have experience with Microsoft Office
• Must have good communication skills
• Must be a motivated self-starter as most work is project based

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
