Job Title: Parts Warranty Specialist
Job Overview:
The Parts Warranty Specialist is responsible for overseeing the warranty claims process for parts and ensuring that all claims are managed efficiently and accurately. This role involves direct communication with customers, internal teams, and manufacturers to investigate, process, and resolve warranty claims. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses strong analytical skills, and can communicate effectively to provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Warranty Claims Management:
- Review and analyze warranty claims submitted by customers to determine eligibility.
- Process warranty claims in accordance with company and manufacturer policies.
- Coordinate with customers and internal teams to gather all necessary documentation and information.
2*. Documentation and Reporting:*
- Maintain accurate records of all warranty claims, including documentation and resolution details.
- Generate reports on warranty claim trends and provide insights to management for process improvement.
3. Customer Service:
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding warranty claims.
- Provide timely updates on the status of claims and offer guidance on the warranty process.
- Resolve customer issues and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
4. Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with the technical and engineering teams to investigate and validate warranty claims.
- Communicate with manufacturers to understand and implement warranty policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to facilitate the return and replacement of parts.
5. Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas of improvement in the warranty claims process and recommend solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards, best practices, and warranty trends.
6. Assisting the Parts Specialist
- Helping receive parts into stock
- Shipping and Receiving of parts and equipment
- Answering phone calls for the Parts Team and directing them to the correct person.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience: Previous experience in warranty claims, customer service, or supply chain is preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and database management.
- Familiarity with warranty management systems or customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment:
The Parts Warranty Specialist typically works in an office setting. Some components of the position will require time in the warehouse.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
