Industrial Facility Design is Hiring an Admin for Support with Manufacturing Contracts Near New York, NY
Job DescriptionIf you are detail oriented and a career minded "take charge" type and consider yourself proficient with Excel, we want to hear from you!
In this pivotal role you will be reporting to the Marketing Director and Supervisor of Contracts providing competitive intelligence regarding vendors as well as market research on transit vehicles and suppliers of equipment involved in manufacture for transportation.
You can expect to:
Provide marketing support/coordination and oversight for vendors with existing contracts as well as prospective new company customers.
The position will entail communicating with our technical sales team and related departments as you track sales activity with detailed reporting and stay in touch with contract holders. Here are a few typical tasks associated with the role:
Be responsible for research
Interface with clients
Build relationships with new customers
Develop deep knowledge of inventory; create and maintain databases
Be involved in the promotion of product lines such as aftermarket parts
Respond to customer requests, prepare proposals and contracts, make presentations, promote products, etc.
