**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Paint Technician to join our team. The Paint Technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining various pieces of equipment to produce high-quality tinted stains and wood coatings to the cabinet industry.

**Duties:**

- Match colors in several different bases. Including conversion varnish wb topcoats and several stain bases.

- Perform color quality control to ensure accurate and consistent color reproduction.

- Utilize computers, tint machines and photospectrometer to achieve desired results

- Production tinting

- Insure orders are complete and accurate

- Maintain accurate reccords of formulations

- Collaberate with customers and peers to insure customer satisfaction

- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance on equipment

- Willing to assume co-workers roles on occasion

**Skills:**

- Proficiency in matching paint and stain colors.

- Experience with forklift operation for material handling

- Knowledge of dispensing machines and photospectrometers.

- Strong understanding of color management principles

- Understanding of all different types of wood coatings, and how to apply them.

- Ability to operate and maintain spray equipment

- Experience in a wood finishing shop desired

- Ability to identify which products are apropriate for the job.

Pay: $25.42 - $26.27 per hour
