Industrial Automation Inc., with over 40 years of experience manufacturing top-quality aircraft maintenance tooling and equipment is looking for a Receiving Inspector. If you have good attention detail, enjoy working in a team atmosphere, and enjoy challenging, non-repetitive work, this is the job for you. We are essentially a custom build shop, making typically making 1 or 2 units at a time.Position Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented, reliable person to join our team as a Receiving Inspector. In this position, you will support manufacturing/assembly, with timely inspection of both raw materials (steel, aluminum, etc.) and purchased parts and components. This is a great position for someone who enjoys working independently as well as with a team.Essential Job Functions:
- Verify product is correct as received from vendors.
- Identify parts as received and route to the appropriate location.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to bend, reach, twist, and walk throughout the day
- Ability to use calipers and micrometers
- Familiarity with metals, aluminum, alloy steel, stainless steel, nylon
- Read/comprehend and follow work instructions.
- Ability to read drawings (preferred)
- Receiving Inspection, 2 years
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Ability to work in a team atmosphere.
- Steel or composite toe shoes complying with current revision of ASTM F-2413.
- Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Good verbal and written communication.
- Respect and commitment to the job and for coworkers.
- Problem solving abilities.
- Forklift certification (preferred)
Pay Range: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour DOE
Hours: Monday-Friday 6:30AM-3:00PM
