Indorama Ventures Mobility Scottsboro SafeTweave (IVMSST), established in 2012, is an American tolling company, converting nylon 6.6 fiber into a woven flat fabric for 100% use in automotive airbags and accredited to the IATF (International Automotive Task Force) 16949 Automotive Quality Management System.
We are currently looking for a production weaving operator to join our team. This position is a 12 hour night shift and scheduled 42 hours per week.
Job duties include but are not limited to working in a fast paced environment, operating many looms using customer specifications to ensure quality product while working to maintain efficiency, administer loom checks at shift start and hourly quality checks for defects, monitor loom stops to effectively and efficiently get them back up and into production, monitor looms for raw material needs, communicate machine issues to maintenance and shift supervisor, document all product data in a legible manner, perform measurements of product using calibrated tools provided by the company, understand and perform all aspects of the weaving process, ability to recognize product defects and cause, operate hoists and beam carriers during the doffing process, ability to push, pull, and or lift up to 50 lbs, use basic computer skills to scan/enter raw materials identification, print documents and customer specifications, print product labels, etc. and the ability to work overtime when needed.

Pre-employment physical and drug test will be required. Strict attendance policy enforced.
