Deerfield ACE Hardware is seeking a staff member to join our team as a STIHL, Echo, Ego power technician and general sales person. The successful candidate will be mechanically inclined and have experience in small engine repair and equipment maintenance preferably with STIHL, Echo, and Ego power equipment. The candidate must have or be capable of quickly getting Stihl Silver-certified. The preferred candidate will have verifiable small engine repair experience and the ability to show consumers how to properly use a wide variety of power equipment.

This position is responsible for maintaining focus on quality customer service, increasing sales, and equipment maintenance and repair. The successful employee will consistently provide quality customer service, actively seek projects to complete, order parts as needed, fill out warranty paperwork and process repairs in a quick and efficient manner. Technician must have excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Stihl certification preferred.
Small engine repair experience preferred.
Ability to lift and/or move heavy equipment of 60 pounds.
