Responsibilities include:

Customer Service
Greet customers entering, exiting and throughout the store.
Clear customer checkout lines quickly and efficiently.
Answer and monitor all phone calls and radio pages promptly, courteously, and effectively.
Continually build product knowledge base and possess the ability to assist customers with store layout and product location.

Register Operations
Follow all cash register transaction procedures.
Responsible for handling cash in register and ensuring a balanced register at the end of the day

Front End Appearance and Upkeep
Always keep the checkout areas and entrance doors neat and clean
Assist with keeping impulse counters stocked and front faced, rotate merchandise to keep it fresh and relevant
Ensure supplies behind the registers are always stocked.
Inform management when merchandise returns need to be put away.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

High School or GED equivalent
Cashier experience preferred.
Customer service experience preferred.
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of the business. ABLE TO WORK WEEKNDS IS A REQUIREMENT.
Standing, walking, bending for at least 7-8 hours per shift
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
Ability to climb ladders
