Indigo Slate is Hiring a Remote Senior Marketing Strategist - Seattle, WA

The Senior Marketing/Brand Strategist is a crucial member of our organization and a significant resource for our clients. This role will assist our clients, some of the best-known companies and brands with the most amazing products and services in the world, with their strategic global marketing vision. As part of this fast-paced, fun team, you will get the chance to work with a variety of global brand names and deliver award-winning project work.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting presales efforts during our pitching and proposal phases, as well as researching, planning, and delivering marketing programs and campaigns during client projects.

We are looking for a Senior Marketing Strategist who is passionate about presenting to and working closely with clients, as well as researching, planning, and delivering marketing programs and campaigns. In this role you will help our clients develop a vision to solve for their needs, plan, build, and execute strategic campaigns and marketing moments. We’re looking for someone who is an avid communicator and storyteller, creative in their approach to solving problems, and confident with clients. You will be a team player who is able to see the bigger picture and provide strategic direction to internal teams.

Additionally, you will support projects and team members with creating, defining, and executing global campaigns and world-class content programs, including messaging development, persona profiling, customer journey mapping, content creation, channel planning, and performance analytics.

Location: Greater Seattle Area, WA (Remote)

YOUR ROLE

In this role, you will drive the following areas:

Business Development

  • Create and deliver project pitches and proposals.
  • Lead engagement with prospects and clients to explore new business opportunities and promote Indigo Slate capabilities.
  • Drive joint efforts with the Client Services team to review and shape proposals, SoWs, and estimations for new project work.
  • Partner with our Pursuit team, offering strategic contributions to our most important client proposals and RFPs.

Project Oversight

  • Inspire and support delivery team leaders to translate statements of work into cohesive project plans, assign resources, and define responsibilities.
  • Align clients with a carefully planned and measured approach. Provide positive motivation, guidance, and governance throughout all projects.
  • Champion assignments together with the client and internal teams to brainstorm only the most innovative solutions to accelerate business growth.

Client Consultancy

  • Advise and support clients in implementing new marketing initiatives or technologies across their organizations (marketing automation, SEM, advertising, etc.).

YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • At least 10 years of professional services in digital marketing consulting including developing marketing strategy and programs for global solutions for Fortune 500 clients.
  • Have 5-10 years of client facing experience as a project leader.
  • Comfortable with campaign design including messaging strategy, audience segmentation, channel strategy, scheduling, customer journey mapping, lead nurture, reporting, testing and optimization.
  • Comfortable with marketing innovation such as personalized marketing, interactive experiences, and new technologies.
  • Knowledgeable around marketing automation technologies across the MarTech landscape (email, SEO/SEM, web, marketing stack, etc.).
  • Campaign execution and management including paid media management, A/B testing, reporting and analysis, and optimization strategy.

SET YOURSELF APART

  • Strong creative storytelling. Ability to align key messages to audiences, develop campaign voice, tone, and theme, and define strong engagement strategies.
  • Proficient at writing copy and content with an understanding of tone and voice and marketing writing techniques across long- and short-form assets.
  • Social media and community management experience including communication strategy, social calendars, social copywriting, and asset development.

Salary Range: USD $100K - $125K (Depending on Experience)
