As Indigo’s Part-time Office Administrator working under 30-hours per week, you are a culture champion for the organization with a focus on driving employee engagement. Reporting to the Organizational Strategist, you will work collaboratively to ensure our teams have everything they need to be successful! This includes caring for the office facilities, stocking up on snacks and drinks, planning monthly employee events, and ensuring we celebrate birthdays and company anniversaries!

What You’ll Do
  • Plan and coordinate monthly employee events and community service opportunities.
  • Keep our break room snacks and office supplies stocked
  • Answer, screen, and transfer inbound phone calls
  • Greet and direct visitors and clients; along with ensuring proper meeting room set-up for all meetings
  • Perform an array of administrative tasks, including but not limited to, managing calendars, scheduling facilities, meetings, and appointments, timely mailing and distributing correspondence
  • Resolve administrative problems and inquiries
  • Assist in onboarding processes for all new team members
  • Jump in and help on any special projects or tasks, as requested
Experience
  • Event planning expertise
  • Office management experience; clerical and administrative procedures, basic office management, maintenance of office equipment
  • Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software, especially Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word are essential)
  • Experience working both independently and on a team
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to change direction when circumstances demand
  • Strong organizational and decision making skills
  • Able to quickly learn new tools and technologies
