Indiana University Health is Hiring a Human Resources Specialist I Near Indianapolis, IN

Job Description
Build your career with IU Health! We have an exciting opportunity available for a HR Shared Services I to join the HRSS team at our Indianapolis location.
Serves as the first point of contact for the HR Service Center, which is available for all IU Health team members statewide, to receive support and guidance on a variety of Human Resources programs and policies. Handles a high-volume of inbound calls and written requests regarding Oracle HR transactions, benefit programs and enrollment procedures, leave programs, HR policies and programs. Processes, troubleshoots, and approves a high-volume of Oracle HR transactions and verifications of team member data to support statewide operations. Participates in testing for system updates or enhancements and helps identify HR trends and issues that impact all team members. Partners with other HR colleagues across the system to ensure team member needs are addressed appropriately in an efficient and professional manner.

•High School Diploma/GED required; Associate's Degree or equivalent years of experience preferred. Must be HDI (Helpdesk Institute) certified within 6 months of employment. Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience.
•Prior Human Resources experience preferred.
•HR data entry and call center experience preferred.
•Help Desk Institute (HDI) certification is required to have or obtain within 6 months of hire (HRSS will pay for certification).
•Requires experience in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel).
