What You’ll Do

• Create Magical Moments: Design and deliver playful, imaginative dance classes that captivate and delight preschoolers. Use storytelling, games, and music to make each class an adventure.
• Spark Joy in Every Step: Encourage children to explore movement and express themselves through dance. Celebrate their unique creativity and progress.
• Teach Tiny Dancers: Introduce basic dance steps, rhythms, and coordination in a way that’s fun and easy to understand. Help kids discover the magic of dance while building their confidence and skills.
• Build a Happy Space: Maintain a vibrant, safe, and welcoming classroom where every child feels valued and excited to learn. Use positive reinforcement and kindness to manage the class.
• Connect with Families: Keep parents and caregivers in the loop with updates on their child’s progress, class activities, and upcoming events. Share the joy of their child’s achievements and milestones.
• Safety First: Always prioritize the safety and well-being of your students. Follow all safety guidelines and ensure the studio is a secure place to dance and play.
• Be a Team Player: Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a supportive and dynamic learning environment. Join in school events, performances, and community activities.
• Keep Growing: Stay inspired and informed by participating in professional development and keeping up with the latest trends in dance education and early childhood development.

What You’ll Bring

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. A degree in Dance, Early Childhood Education, or a related field is a plus.
• Experience: Previous experience teaching dance to young children is a big advantage. Experience in early childhood education will make you shine even brighter.
• Skills:
• A deep love for dance and children.
• Creative lesson planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Patience, creativity, and a fun-loving attitude.
• Classroom management skills with a focus on positivity and encouragement.
• Certifications: First Aid and CPR certification preferred. Dance teaching certifications are a bonus.
