Indian Health Service is Hiring a Contracting Officer Representative Near Browning, MT
Summary
This position will support multiple services units of the Indian Health Service (IHS) Billings Area. The position serves as Contract Support Specialist and focal point for the effective use of task order services and automated data processing contract implementation for the IHS Billings Area service units.
Supports the service unit contract administrative elements as necessary and serves as Contracting Officer Representative (COR) providing oversight and functional responsibility on contracts.
Duties
- Monitors type of service required, payment schedules to assure requirements are clear and concise.
- Monitors new and amended contracts to ensure understanding of contract terms and compliance by both contractor and government personnel.
- Coordinates Project Reviews, supports the technical staff in strategic business planning, programmatic schedule tracking and coordination.
- Provides substantive advice and guidance to managers and technical personnel on contracting methods and strategies
