indev is Hiring a Salesforce Technical Lead Near Washington, DC

Position Title: Salesforce Technical Lead

Location: Hybrid, Washington, D.C.

Position Overview: Indev is seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Lead to join one of our federal projects supporting Department of Transportation in Washington, D.C. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your previous Salesforce development experience and expertise. Your in-depth understanding of state models will be used to build workflow applications used to integrate external data.

This is a direct-hire, full time position with salary and benefits. Indev provides a comprehensive benefits package, including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k with match, Flexible Spending Account, and Paid Time Off (PTO)—including vacation and holiday pay.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Serve as a technical architect on solution design
  • Utilize workflow models to define individual states and transaction tasks and configure into Salesforce accordingly
  • Lead integration of Salesforce Service Cloud with other external systems and applications, ensuring smooth data flow, interoperability, and alignment with program requirements
  • Collaborate with business analysts, technical staff and other key stakeholders to identify best solutions to address customer needs and provide guidance on execution of technology decisions
  • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of applications
  • Document best practices and operational procedures while implementing continuous improvement within the environment

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline
  • Eight years of specialized experience and twelve years of relevant experience
  • Three plus years of experience in Service Cloud with a focus on application integration
  • Keen understanding of state and workflow models and how to configure in Salesforce
  • Experience using Mulesoft and data pipelines
  • Experience integrating the Salesforce data model to outside data systems
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Nice to have’s:

  • Salesforce Public Sector Solutions Accredited Professional
  • Experience in AWS cloud engineering (S3, API Gateway, queues, etc.)
  • Experience with Grants Management
  • Preferred certifications: Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder, Salesforce Architect, Salesforce Developer, Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant
  • Currently hold a Public Trust clearance with Department of Transportation or Department of Homeland Security

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $198,000.00 - $238,000.00 per year
