We are in search of a skilled Medical Receptionist to become an integral part of our mobile clinic team. If you possess excellent communication skills, are proficient with medical software systems, and are ready to embrace the dynamic world of healthcare, we invite you to join us on this exciting journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Patient Engagement: Answer incoming phone calls, discern patient needs, and provide clear, professional information about our offerings.
  • Appointment Coordination: Efficiently manage appointment schedules according to patient requests, and proactively address follow-up inquiries.
  • Patient Registration and Check-out: Conduct patient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accurate paperwork assembly and EHR data entry.
  • Insurance Liaison: Secure prior authorizations for medical procedures from insurance providers, verify patient insurance eligibility, and inform patients about associated costs. Collect payments as necessary.
  • Administrative Duties: Maintain order by organizing patient referrals, documents, and confirming appointments on a daily basis. Respond promptly to inquiries received via phone, email, and fax.

Skills Required:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer operations and typing; previous experience with EHR systems is an advantage.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and the ability to work independently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
