IPC is seeking a Sr. BI Analyst, the mission of this job is to work with databases, dashboards, and other tools to analyze data and provide insights for business decision making.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Participates in business analysis activities, works with Product owner and Business Partners to understand, and clarify reporting and dashboard requirements and advice as needed.

· Developing, maintaining, and supporting all reports and dashboard development

· Serve as subject matter expert on library of reports and dashboards as well as train or educate end users as needed.

· Translates business requirements into technical requirements to implement reports and dashboards created from multiple data sources.

· Performing analysis of data sources and processes to ensure data integrity, completeness, and accuracy.

· Collaborates with other teams to design, develop and maintain ongoing metrics, reports, analysis, and dashboards to drive key business decisions.

· Testing of all Business Intelligence artifact to eliminate/reduce technical debt.

· Working with Product Owners, Data Analysts, and Data Engineers to craft solutions to business problems.

· Production support of current Reporting and BI cubes and solutions.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· 5 years of industry experience – Supply chain, distribution, logistics, procurement, CRM, and finance.

· 5 years of experience in BI Tools (PowerBI required, Tableau is a Plus, and Other BI tools MicroStrategy or Cognos), T-SQL and SQL server, Online Analytical Processing (OLAP), and data cube technology are preferred.

· 5 years of demonstrated mastery of Tableau and Power BI reporting tools

· 5 years of experience in Cloud environments: Azure required and AWS nice to have, experience.

· Understand complex data structures and be able to design and implement data transformation from source to report. This include experience with ETL tools and data movement processes (Data Factory, Synapse, EnterWorks are the tools we are currently using).

· Experience with database design and architecture for data warehouse is a plus

· Implement BI best practices such as automated testing, continuous integration, continuous delivery, security-first, being cloud-native, applying DevOps principles, and sharing in the responsibility for all things our team builds

· Experience analyzing high volumes of data for multiple purposes in a dynamic environment

· Must have excellent communication and research abilities to convert functional requirements into IT solutions.

Qualifications and Experience

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, , or a related field

· 5 years of industry experience – Supply chain, distribution, logistics, procurement, CRM, and finance.

· 5 years of experience developing Business Intelligence (BI) Solutions using Tableau (necessary), Power BI, MicroStrategy or other similar BI solution

· Experience administering Tableau Server (configuration, access, deployment), managing user permissions required

· 5 years working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and MS Azure cloud technologies a plus.

· Experience in troubleshooting, configuring servers, performing software installations, performing system maintenance on Tableau in test, development, and production.

· Experience with database / query performance tuning and ability to create complex high-performance queries.
