Position Summary

The ideal candidate is a thoughtful leader, self-starter, highly analytical, attentive to detail, organized, and a strategic problem solver. Moreover, the candidate is someone who consistently goes above and beyond and excels in quantitative and qualitative analytics and is interested in creating and developing a team.

Reporting to the CAO, the Director will be responsible for managing and administering the Company's day-to-day corporate treasury operations including cash management, cash forecasting, managing the company’s wire transfers, investing excess capital, track the company’s compliance with debt covenants, payroll, and working with the Company’s insurance brokers to maintain an effective insurance program. The Director will be responsible for contributing value to a results-oriented team while also creating and developing team members.

Essential Functions 

  1. Day to day cash management and reconciliation.
  2. Review investment opportunities and seek opportunities in line with Investment Policy.
  3. Manage and maintain effective, transparent relationships with the company’s banking partners.
  4. Develop strategies relating to all aspects of the company’s capital structure, including the forecasting of cash, identifying the optimal cash balance, debt structures including the optimal mix of fixed and floating rate debt, M&A financing alternatives and consultation on subsidiary capital structure.
  5. Manage company risk by maintaining the company’s insurance policies and work with broker to evaluate insurers to ensure appropriate coverage terms and cost.
  6. Provide due diligence and transaction support for mergers & acquisitions.
  7. Prepare short and long-term cash forecasts and interest income forecast.
  8. Design, implement, and streamline treasury operations processes.
  9. Partner with Tax and Accounting teams to execute overall cash planning.
  10. Hire and lead the treasury team. Coach and develop team members and foster a positive and proactive team-oriented environment.
  11. Establish procedures and ensure controls are in place for all treasury processes.
  12. Payroll processing in conjunction with HR.
  13. Captive insurance entity management and claims processing.
  14. Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Requires a BS/BA in Finance, Business Administration, or Accounting. 
  • Requires a CTP designation or advanced degree.

Required Skills

  • 5-7 years of progressive experience working in a similar role or other finance-related roles.
  • The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic work environment and demonstrates a flexible and adaptable work style that responds quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • Impactful business partner with strong communications skills able to effectively collaborate across departments.
  • Must have a proven track record of effective communication at all levels across the entire organization.
