A. DESCRIPTION:

1. Monitor the food service program to ensure that all residents have access to the meals while in the program. To maintain compliance with requirements of local, state and federal rules.

B. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Received meals delivered to the facility.

2. Ensure all incoming food are properly labeled with dates

4. Inventories food received and put into proper storage.

5. Oversees meal sign-up sheet.

6. Check and record refrigerator and freezer temperature.

7. Discharge old inventory.

8. Maintains a kitchen up to local health department regulations

9. Maintain an emergency supply of food in the case of severe weather or other disaster.

10. Other duties as assigned

C. INDEPENDENCE OF ACTION:

1. Reports to the Administrative Coordinator.

D. PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT:

1. None

E. WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

Works close with the Administrative Coordinator for the ordering of supplies.

F. WORKING CONDITIONS:

1. Works in and out of a kitchen environment.

G. QUALIFICATIONS AND MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. High School diploma, a willingness to learn and work.

2. Must be authorized to work in the United States.

3. Must be able to pass Federal Bureau of Prisons background.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week

Work Location: In person
