Job Summary:

The Director of Nursing supervises Home Health services to patients in their place of residence, in accordance with the attending physician orders and plans of care, and strives to provide the highest quality of care. The Director participates in all activities relevant to professional services furnishes, the assignment of personnel. Position is currently in Winter Haven, however a new location in Lakeland is scheduled.

Qualifications:

• Registered and Licensed RN, by the state where currently practicing.
• Three to Five years of experience in Health Care, Home Care Preferred.
• Two years experience in a Supervisory position.
• Knowledge and ability to apply community health principals and practices.

Responsibilities:

• Participates in developing standards which ensure safe and therapeutically effective service to patients and families.
• Assure that patients plan of care are develolped, implemented and updates.
• Participates in coordinating Agency's services with services of other community agencies.
• Establishes the functions and qualifications for each service position, and coordinates patient care and referrals
• Addresses all patient and or family concerns
• Must be willing to travel within region for patient visits as needed or required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
