Position Summary
The Registered Nurse has the primary responsibility of assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of the patients for whom she/he assumes responsibility under the direction of the Nurse Manager and Charge Nurse. Demonstrates commitment to Clarion Hospital mission statement, vision statement and values.
Essential Functions
Agrees to comply with the Corporate Compliance Policy and all laws, rules, regulations, and standards of conduct relating to the position and has a duty toreport any suspected violations of the law or the standards of conduct to his or her immediate supervisor, the Compliance Officer or the Chief Executive Officer.

Reporting Relationships
Reports to: Nurse Manager, Charge Nurse
Supervises: GN, LPN, Nursing Assistant, Unit Secretary, Nurse Externs and Technicians.
Qualifications
Graduate of a State Board approved program of professional nursing. Holds a current Pennsylvania State License as a registered nurse. Certified in basic CPR. Certified in ACLS, PALS, and neonatal resuscitation as appropriate.
Previous critical care of emergency room experience preferred.
Excellent customer service skills.
