Overview

Occupational Therapist (OT) / Certified Hand Therapist (CHT): Lakeshore Bone & Joint - Schererville

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Salary starts at $80k/yr. commensurate with experience.

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday - 8:00am-5:00pm. Tuesday & Friday - 8:00am-2:00pm

Work setting: Outpatient Clinic

Location: 833 W. Lincoln Hwy. Suite 110E. Schererville, IN 46375

Lakeshore Bone & Joint - Schererville is seeking an experienced Hand Therapist with experience in orthosis fabrication and shoulder rehabilitation. Applicants must work well with other therapists, physicians, and staff. Training is available for the motivated candidate. Come join us and build your career!

Responsibilities

  • Developing individualized treatment plans for patients
  • Close communication with referral sources
  • Outlining clear goals for patients and the expected outcomes of the plan
  • Using exercises, stretching, equipment, and hands-on therapy to manage patients’ pain, increase mobility, and prevent further pain and injury
  • Strong documentation skills recording patients’ progress and modifying the plan of care as needed
  • Educating patients and family members about the recovery process

Qualifications

  • Post-Op/Post Injury splinting experience.
  • Indiana license as an Occupational Therapist or ability to obtain license.
  • Certified Hand Therapy credentialing preferred and/or willing to support a CHT track.
