Senior Business Intelligence Engineer:

Inceed has partnered with a global leader in the logistics industry to help find a skilled Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to join their team on a Fully Remote Full-Time basis.
As a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure while creating insightful and actionable reports using Snowflake, DBT, and Power BI. Responsibilities:

• Data Warehouse Development: Design, develop, and maintain our Snowflake data warehouse, ensuring data integrity, scalability, and performance. Collaborate with data engineering and other teams to optimize data pipelines and automate data processing.

• DBT Modeling: Utilize DBT (Data Build Tool) to create data models, transform raw data into meaningful insights, and build a reliable and efficient data layer for reporting and analytics.

• ETL (Extract, Transform, Load): Develop and implement ETL processes to extract data from various sources, transform it into a consistent format, and load it into the data warehouse.

• Report Development: Create visually appealing and interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI, enabling business stakeholders to access and analyze data for insights and decision-making.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and transformation.
  • Strong experience in designing and developing data models with DBT.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake or other cloud-based data warehousing platforms.
  • Expertise in building interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI or similar BI tools.

• Data Visualization: Demonstrated ability to present complex data in a clear and compelling manner through effective data visualizations and storytelling.

• Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide data-driven insights and recommendations.

• Team Player: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

• Data-driven Approach: A passion for leveraging data to drive business decisions, improve processes, and identify opportunities for growth.
